The Bianconeri are somewhat incomplete in the middle of the park after missing out on Zenit’s Axel Witsel on transfer deadline day.
According to the Turin-based newspaper, Saul Niguez is the latest candidate to reinforce the squad next season.
He turns 22 next month and is under contract until June 2021.
His price-tag currently stands at €40m, but that could rise if he has a solid campaign with the Colchoneros.
Saul Niguez already hit the headlines recently by scoring a marvellous goal against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
It’s possible he could play for Spain against Italy in tomorrow night’s World Cup qualifier at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
