Juventus wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner insists he has “no existential crisis, but evidently the current situation is not for me.”
The Swiss international is currently on international duty and spoke to ATS about being dropped from the Champions League squad.
“I am relaxed, very relaxed. I have had a magnificent career,” said the player whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
“I won many titles at Juventus, but also had great moments with Lille, Lazio and Switzerland. I feel no existential crisis, but evidently the current situation is not for me.”
Despite not being eligible to play for Juventus in the Champions League, Lichtsteiner has also dropped down the pecking order in Serie A games and a January exit is possible.
