With over 1300 minutes under his belt - more than any other Juventus player in Serie A this season - a license to roam forward and now, after last weekend's excellently taken goal against Atalanta, a keen eye for goal, it is safe to say that Alex Sandro has truly settled into life in Turin.
Eased into Italy's "very tactical" game last term, the Brazilian is now a key figure in Massimiliano Allegri's plans, not least one of the Bianconeri's driving creative forces from his left-sided berth.
Just before his team enter a crucial phase of their season with Torino, Roma and Milan all still to come before the winter break, Juve's man of the moment sat down with Sky Sport Italia to discuss everything from the impending Champions League draw to his personal tribute to the victims of the Chapecoense air disaster.
UCL draw
"We’ll be well prepared to face whoever comes out of the hat in the Champions League draw. Personally, a reunion with Porto would be special.
"Comparing Juventus with the other top sides like Barcelona or Atletico Madrid is constructive; at this stage, every side has their own unique characteristics and each has quality players, capable of taking them deep into the tournament."
Consistency the key
"The most important thing for any player is getting a consistent run in the team; I’m doing that at the moment and I’m delighted for it, I give my all every day to improve my game wherever possible.
"Italian football, not just the way Juve play, is very tactical and it can take a bit of getting used to at first. My goal is to learn something new about my position every game."
"Three must-win games"
"Everyone in the dressing room is looking forward to taking on Torino in the derby, not to mention Roma the following week and Milan in the Super Cup final.
"We’ll need to be at our very best and play like a proper Juventus side to get the results that we want. We need no reminding of the importance of this little run of fixtures and as ever, our target can’t be anything other than three victories."
A thought for Brazil
"The chance of playing for Brazil is always at the back of my mind. My focus naturally is on Juve but getting a call up to represent the Selecao would be a true honour.
"(After my goal against Atalanta) I wanted to do something to pay my respects to the families of the players, staff and journalists who lost their lives in the Chapecoense disaster; they will always be in my thoughts and the tribute was on the behalf of both myself and Juventus as a whole."
