Dybala and Pjanic Hungry For Cup Success

While the small matter of a Super Cup final and a first piece of silverware of the season will be at the forefront of their minds, Paulo Dybala and Miralem Pjanic both have ulterior motives for emerging victorious over Milan in Doha on Friday evening.

Both players, the former withdrawn through injury early on, the latter unfortunate to see a goal disallowed in the first meeting with the Rossoneri in October, spoke of scores being settled when discussing the upcoming encounter before training this afternoon at the Aspire Academy and with both in line to feature in two days' time, a different affair is certainly on the cards this time around.

The key quotes from Paulo and Miralem's pre-match media meeting ahead of Juve's final outing of 2016 are as follows:

PAULO DYBALA

"The game against Milan earlier in the season will probably be remembered for Pjanic's disallowed goal which could have easily changed the outcome. This Friday's rematch will be a different contest; we're coming off the back of a great run of form and we're playing some good football at the moment. We've done brilliantly so far but we mustn't rest on our laurels. We've got a huge fixture coming up and we fancy our chances of winning the Super Cup again.

"We know full well that we must never repeat the performance we produced in the first 30 minutes against Genoa last month and the results since then have spoken for themselves. We're frank with each other when things go wrong and when we take to the field, we do it as a family."

MIRALEM PJANIC

"All that matters is winning on Friday night. It was a tough 90 minutes against a strong and very well organised Milan at the San Siro last time. We shrugged off that defeat quickly and we made amends in the right way by pushing ahead both at home and in the Champions League. The Rossoneri are in good nick of late and so we know they will give us a difficult time on Friday. However they play, we have eyes only for the trophy.

"Any side can lose a game but no one should lose in the fashion we did in Genoa and we told ourselves as much at full time. We're united as a group and we know what we should achieve this season, beginning with the Super Cup final."
