Reports are spreading fast that Arsenal will let Alexis Sanchez go, as Juventus and Bayern Munich prepare to swoop.
We already noted last week that the Bianconeri were keeping a close eye on the Chilean’s situation, having already tried to sign him from Udinese in 2011 and again at Barcelona in 2014.
If Real Madrid do activate their €30m clause to buy back Alvaro Morata, the money will be ploughed into another star forward, with Sanchez top of the list.
Now the Daily Mirror and Daily Telegraph claim Arsenal will hold crunch talks with Sanchez over the next few days to see if he is committed to the club.
If not, a summer sale is extremely likely to avoid letting his contract run down.
It doesn’t look good for the Gunners, as there were reports Sanchez stormed off after he was substituted against Norwich City and left the stadium.
The 27-year-old has already proved himself in Serie A at the start of his career, so would not take much time to settle in at Juve.
Curiously, Arsenal could replace Sanchez with Morata, as Real Madrid fully intend to sell the Spain international on at a profit this summer.
