After four seasons with Juventus, midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah could be nearing a summer switch to Chelsea.

The Ghanaian has been a marginal figure in the Bianconeri’s fifth consecutive Scudetto campaign and may be ready to try his luck in the Premier League.

Incoming Blues manager Antonio Conte worked with the versatile midfielder during his tenure at the Old Lady, and is fond of the dynamism that Asamoah can bring to the fold.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to shell out a significant transfer fee of between €20-€25 million for the 27-year-old, a figure which Juventus would likely be more than willing to accept for a reserve player.

Asamoah has only featured in 11 Serie A matches this season, with just five of these appearances coming as a starter. He has a single assist to his name.

The former Udinese player switched Bianconeri sides in 2012 for a fee of €18 million.
