The Italian international has been repeatedly linked with a €30m move to the Bundesliga, as he’s unhappy over a lack of opportunities in Turin.
“Simone just got back from holiday so we haven’t properly discussed the situation,” Christian Maifredi explained to calciomercato.com.
“We’ll definitely do that in the coming days and we’ll make a final decision. It all depends on Zaza, he doesn’t necessarily want to go, he still has a four-year contract with Juventus.
“But he wants more playing time? Definitely, I think Simone has shown he deserves more confidence and to play with more consistency than last season.
“He wants to play more, I think the situation will soon be more clearly outlined. There are also other options in play, when Simone gives me the OK I’ll move forward.
“At the moment there’s concrete interest from Wolfsburg but they’re not the only ones.”
