West Ham have an approach to take Juventus youngster Rolando Mandragora on loan for the coming campaign dismissed by the Italian champions.
The youngster, who turned 19 last month, joined the Bianconeri from Genoa in January before returning to Pescara on loan for the rest of the season, helping the Delfini return to Serie A via the playoffs.
That attracted the attention of the Hammers who made a request on Wednesday to take the midfielder on loan next season but were met with an instant rebuttal by the Bianconeri.
It is believed that the Old Lady are not willing to allow the Italy Under-21 international leave the club on loan for the coming campaign, hinting that he may be a part of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s plans.
Mandragora, who has a contract in Turin until 2020, played an important role in Pescara’s promotion last season as he made a total of 26 appearances for Massimo Oddo’s men on league duty.
