Manchester United target Paul Pogba has insisted that he is happy at Juventus, despite much speculation suggesting the midfielder is close to leaving the Old Lady.
United had a monstrous €132 million bid for Pogba turned down by the Bianconeri, however, speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s future has persisted, despite the player appearing content to remain in Turin.
“I am happy to be at Juventus,” the 23-year-old said at an ESPN award ceremony. “Juventus are my team, my club, my family.
“I play for Juventus and I am comfortable there.”
Despite declaring his happiness in Turin, Pogba failed to rule out a move away from the Bianconeri this summer when asked about his future.
“I do not know what will happen,” he said. “Manchester United were my first family, and Real Madrid are a great club, too.”
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, also revealed that the player wants to remain at the club for a long time and could soon renew his contract at the Juventus Stadium.
