Juventus need one more midfielder and they are considering Chelsea's Nemanja Matic, Valencia's Andre Gomes and Lazio's Lucas Biglia.
The signing of Miralem Pjanic may have represented a protein boost for the Old Lady's midfield, but sporting director Beppe Marotta considers the squad still short of a player.
According to Calciomercato.it, there are three names currently being considered for the middle of the pitch. The first is that of Matic, who may wish to leave Chelsea after the signing of N'Golo Kante could push him to the bench.
The other names are Valencia's Gomes and Lazio's Biglia, with the latter particularly likely to leave his club after the opportunity to work with Marcelo Bielsa vanished.
An offer for any of these players could be forwarded as early as in the next 48 hours.
