There is an Italian report that Juventus turned down the chance to sign Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen for €25m.
According to calcionews24.com, the creative midfielder was proposed to the Bianconeri over the last few days.
The asking price from Bayer Leverkusen is €30m, but the representative hinted they could seal a deal for €25m.
However, Juve replied that they were not interested, as Calhanoglu is no longer considered viable for Max Allegri’s tactical project.
The 22-year-old Turkey international had been one of the options considered several months ago, but Juventus have secured Croatia international Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb instead.
