Whilst the search for a new central midfielder continues, Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko has now become the latest player to be linked with a potential move to Juventus this summer.
Following the departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United, director Giuseppe Marotta has admitted that the club are seeking to fill a void within their core, although he also acknowledged that it is difficult to find the right candidate.
In regards to a potential arrival, L’Equipe have now claimed that the reigning Italian champions have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Bakayoko, who is thought to be considering his future in Ligue 1.
As claimed by his agent, Michel Boll, the player currently has two options on the table: one being to renew his contract and thus remain in the principality, with the second being to seek pastures new.
Juventus have also shown an interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi, however, the Parisian outfit have stressed that the player will not be leaving the Parc des Princes this summer.
