Portuguese referee Manuel De Sousa has been assigned to the Champions League game between Juventus and Dinamo Zagreb.
It kicks off on Tuesday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT) at the Stadion Maksimir.
De Sousa will be supported by an all-Portuguese set of officials.
The 41-year-old has wielded the whistle in three games featuring Italian teams, leading to two draws and a defeat.
Lazio were held to a 0-0 Europa League draw at Apollon Limassol, the Italy Under-21 side drew 1-1 with Greece in 2008 and Torino were beaten 2-0 at Zenit in March 2015.
During that game, Marco Benassi saw red for a double yellow card after just 28 minutes.
