Gianluca Vialli believes Juventus have “a more European mentality” while Alessandro Del Piero praises Massimiliano Allegri.
The pair played together for the Bianconeri when they last won the Champions League in 1996, and were asked for their opinions at a charity golf event today.
“Juve have a more European mentality,” Vialli opined, as reported by ANSA.
“Juve are earning the respect of the big teams in Europe.”
Meanwhile, all-time top-scorer Del Piero praised Allegri for keeping feet on the ground.
“Over the past two years Juve have changed a lot, thanks to the important investments which have been effected on the transfer market.
“There’s great excitement, at the moment Allegri is doing really well to bring all our our feet back down to the ground.”
Vialli scored 53 goals in 145 games for the Old Lady, while Del Piero hit 290 in 705 appearances across all competitions.
