Giovanni Malagò was this morning treated to a guided tour of the groundbreaking J|Medical facility, the club’s state-of-the-art multipurpose healthcare model that first opened its doors in March 2016.
Giuseppe Marotta was on hand to lead the CONI president around the medical centre, stadium and museum, showing him precisely why Juventus continue to lead the way in Italy both on and off the field.
Commenting on the event, the Bianconeri CEO said: “We’re proud to present this state-of-the-art centre to the highest ranked official in Italian sport. J|Medical’s services can be used by both professional athletes and the general public, and this is very important for us. We’re happy we’ve been able to give Malagò an in-depth look around the facility.”
Malagò replied: “Congratulations to Juventus, this is the direction we need to be heading in. Today I’ve seen a professional and modern facility that portrays us in a good light to those outside of Italy.
“We’re happy to lend CONI’s support to a facility that will certainly be of great use to both footballers and athletes of every discipline.”
Marotta also found time to discuss Italy’s exploits in Euro 2016, expressing his delight at the way the nation has backed an Azzurri side that featured six Juventus players in Friday's triumph over Sweden.
He concluded: “It’s nice that everyone’s getting behind the Azzurri, and we’re proud that six Bianconeri featured in Italy’s last game. However, we mustn’t forget the other players in our squad who are representing their respective countries in Europe and South America.”
