Juventus Beat Everton To Signing Graziano Pelle

The Italian's stock has risen during Euro 2016 thanks to his goals against Belgium and Spain, and he is expected to leave Southampton after the tournament.

According to Sportitalia, Juventus have made Pelle their top target to replace Alvaro Morata after Real Madrid activated the Spaniard's buy-back clause earlier this month.

Everton are set to step up their chase of the 30-year-old should Romelu Lukaku decide to leave Goodison Park, although Koeman's priority is to persuade the Belgian to stay.

Pelle is understood to be keen on a return to his native Italy and the prospect of Champions League football next years makes Juve his preferred destination.
