Having recently joined Juventus, Miralem Pjanic is enjoying his holidays in Formentera before beginning life with the Old Lady.
The Bosnia playmaker left Roma for their bitter rivals at the start of June, but is already training to earn a starting berth in Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
“I’m always practicing to keep in shape, but it is also important to rest your mind after a season that was long and hard,” he revealed to Sport Mediaset. “After this I’ll return to Luxembourg and then on to Turin, to start my new life.”
The 26-year-old also admitted he has been following Euro 2016 from a distance after Bosnia and Herzegovina’s “disappointing” exit to Ireland in the qualifying play-offs.
“I’m watching, even though I’m not there with Bosnia,” he added. “However, there have been great matches so far.”
Allegri expressed his satisfaction with the signing as Pjanic will meet up with his new Bianconeri teammates at Vinovo on July 6 and prepare for a pre-season tour of Australia and Hong Kong.
