The French midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but Bianconeri general manager Giuseppe Marotta declared yesterday that they “won’t open negotiations”.
Speaking at an event for the Agnelli foundation, the CEO of Juve’s holding company discussed Pogba, as well as the departure of Alvaro Morata, who has returned to Real Madrid.
“Juventus have a tradition of great champions, and Morata is a great champion who gave so much,” Elkann said, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I wish him good luck for what he’ll do at Real Madrid. We’ll soon meet him with the national team, and I hope Italy play a great match [against Spain].
“Will Pogba leave? Marotta has been very clear about that…”
